The steel ball grade of G200 440/440C stainless steel ball is 200. The grade is mainly determined by indicators such as ball diameter variation, spherical error, batch diameter variation, and surface roughness. We will strictly control these indicators in production to ensure that the product can meet your needs and achieve higher quality and precision, which is especially important for industries such as precision instruments and aerospace.


Is using 440C stainless steel balls for grinding and polishing wasteful?

To answer this question, Condar first needs to clarify: the choice of steel ball material for grinding and polishing is determined by the characteristics and performance of the medium, not by its price. Of course, if the product's inherent added value is low, expensive grinding media will not be chosen.

Grinding is the process of grinding and polishing a workpiece surface using abrasives and abrasives to improve surface quality. 440C stainless steel balls are hard and rust-resistant, so during the grinding process, the abrasive material on their surface wears away quickly, resulting in lower grinding efficiency. Another practical issue is the high price of 440C stainless steel balls, making their use relatively expensive for grinding.

However, for some special cases, using 440C stainless steel balls is necessary. When the workpiece surface requirements are extremely high, or the material is hard and wear-resistant, 440C stainless steel balls are recommended for better grinding results and surface quality.
